HISTORY
Founded in
2006 and hailing from Havannah
impressed audiences right from the start thanks to their energy, their
sound and their great versatility. Despite more drummer changes than
Spinal Tap, Havannah managed to perform at a consistently high standard
and to obtain great feedback from audiences and musicians in the rock
and pop circuit. In 2009, Carl
switched over to bass and Havannah evolved into spin-off supergroup
Fully Stacked, featuring drummer extraordinaire Federico Girlando and
guitarist Mark Patton of V8 fame. The project
was very successful but short-lived: ever-increasing musical and
personal commitments of all band members led Fully Stacked to disband in
2010. Mark rejoined V8, Federico kept playing all over the country with
original project Neurotic and party band Rococo and Carl pursued a
college career. Luca, in the meantime, decided to expand his range of
vocal abilities and joined Rococo as a dep singer, but true to his roots
he also became the frontman of the Cloned Stones and ultimately of Zed
Lepp, a tribute to Led Zeppelin featuring Peter Primmer of V8 on bass
and professional drummer Tom Voce. Despite a year
of great fun in the local circuit, however, it became apparent to Luca
that he missed playing various types of music…and that he missed gigging
with Carl, with whom he had forged a strong friendship and who, in the
meantime, had picked up the guitar again. And so, in the
summer of 2011, following a few jam sessions with Carl at the Clarendon
in Leamington, a chat with New Jersey-born bass player Paul Pinnock (who
shared the same stage with both on various occasions) and a quick
audition to Leamington-based drummer Jeremy “Jez” White, Havannah
reformed and are now back in the saddle! So what next?
Well, in the word of Steven Tyler …Let the music do the talking!
